WordCamp Cebu is back for the second time, but what is WordCamp, and why should you attend WordCamp Cebu 2023? Let’s answer those questions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, let me tell you that WordCamp is the biggest gathering of WordPress enthusiasts, and it’s 100% community-organized and volunteer-driven. These events are organized, paid for, and attended by the local WordPress communities in accordance with guidelines published at https:\/\/central.WordCamp.org and the principles of the WordPress Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2006, the first WordCamp was held in San Francisco, California. Since then, several WordCamps have been held in various cities worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WordPress users attend WordCamps, and those interested to use the WordPress platforms. Everyone is invited: bloggers, developers, designers, SEO specialists, marketers, businesses, non-profits, photographers, digital marketing specialists, and anyone interested to learn more about WordPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is WordCamp Cebu?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
WordCamp Cebu was first held in Cebu on March 2, 2019, at Bayfront Hotel Cebu. Around 300 WordPress users attended the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second WordCamp Cebu would have been on February 29, 2020, but it was ultimately canceled due to the pandemic. All those who got a ticket for this event should be able to get a free ticket to the next event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, finally, in 2023, we’re hosting the newest WordCamp Cebu 2023. It will be on February 11, 2023, at Mandarin Plaza Hotel in Cebu City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
