Workshops in WordCamp Cebu 2019
Yes, we will have workshops in WordCamp Cebu 2019. There will be two workshop sessions during the event – WordPress 101: The Basics of Creating a Website Using WordPress and HTML & CSS: Fundamentals of the Web. If you know nothing about using WordPress or just want to review the basic concepts, you may want to make sure you join these sessions.

Introducing Wapuu-lapu!
WordCamp Cebu 2019 is almost upon us and we’re excited to feature a new Wapuu to the mix! Say hello to Wapuu-lapu! A bit of a wordplay and a tribute rolled into one, Wapuu-lapu’s name is derived from Lapu-lapu, who is often regarded in modern Philippine society as the first Filipino hero. He was the first native to resist Spanish colonization and is best known for the Battle of Mactan, which happened in the shores in the island of Cebu in 1521. Wapuu-lapu can be seen wearing the iconic bandana or headgear same as the fabled hero.
